Vontaze Burfict caught twisting ankle of Chiefs RB on ground
Vontaze Burfict continued his dirty tricks during the first half of the Cincinnati Bengals’ game on Sunday at Kansas City.
Burfict tackled Chiefs running back Spencer Ware for a loss of two yards in the first quarter on a pass play. After bringing Ware down, Burfict kept hold of Ware’s leg and did a gratuitous roll to the other side.

This isn’t an example of us nitpicking. There isn’t a way to explain or justify this. This is yet another example of Burfict being dirty; it’s just a more low-key example of his dirtiness compared to some of his other actions.
Keep in mind that the Bengals linebacker was fined by the NFL in 2014 for similarly twisting the ankles of two Panthers players that year.
Burfict was not called for a penalty for his actions, which did not seem to be noticed by any officials.
