Wife explains why Rams’ Andrew Whitworth deleted Twitter after Super Bowl loss
Andrew Whitworth is taking the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl loss harder than most.
The Pro Bowl offensive lineman deactivated his Twitter account following the team’s defeat. His wife explained why on Tuesday, saying her husband just wants to avoid the noise for some time.
Hey everybody who is worried about Andrew deactivating his account it is strictly to step away for a bit and spend some quality time w family away from the noise. The Whitworths are all good thanks for the support #ramily #offseasonishere

Getting rid of his Twitter is one way to do that.
Whitworth was already back at the Rams’ facility riding on a bike after returning from Atlanta. He got morbid after the team’s Super Bowl loss, so that combined with the Twitter deactivation led to some concern. Maybe he’ll bounce back in the next few weeks.
