The Golf Channel committed an absolutely embarrassing blunder during an interview they attempted on Thursday.
Golf Channel was providing coverage of the BMW Charity Pro-Am at Thornblade Club in Upstate, South Carolina. One of the amateurs participating in the event was former Texas legendary quarterback Vince Young. Golf Channel was excited to be interviewing VY during their coverage, but there was quite a mistake when reporter Lauren Withrow showed up with someone other than Young.
Withrow thought she was interviewing Young but actually was talking with Everette Sands, who is an assistant football coach with The Citadel.

Sands handled that about as well as possible, while Withrow really didn’t even seem to understand what had happened nor that she had made a mistake.
She later recapped her day with a note on her Instagram story that said she would “learn from the mistakes.”
Yikes, that was bad.
