Shane McMahon caused a buzz on the internet Sunday when NBC showed him standing alongside Rory McIlroy’s father at the U.S. Open:

In case you’re wondering why McMahon would be standing with Gerry McIlroy and supporting Rory, it’s because he’s on the Board of Directors for International Sports Management, which represents Rory. McMahon was also in attendance at the Master’s in Augusta, giving McIlroy a handshake following his brutal final round. I don’t know about you, but I would have preferred to see Rory McIlroy’s girlfriend in his corner at Congressional rather than McMahon, no offense.
