Derek Jeter and girlfriend Hannah Davis having secret wedding?

All we really know about Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis is that they are dating. Rumors that the New York Yankees legend and his model girlfriend had gotten engaged last year turned out to be false — we think. Then we heard Jeter and Davis broke up earlier this year, but Davis was later spotted enjoying Jeter’s final MLB All-Star Game with his family. Does all this add up to a secret wedding?

TMZ is reporting that Jeter has some sort of huge party planned at the famous Oheka Castle in Manhattan this weekend. While some sources have reportedly told the gossip site that the party is to celebrate Jeter’s retirement, others “swear” Jeter and Davis are getting married.

While we would normally brush a report like this off as complete nonsense, this is Derek Jeter we are talking about. No celebrity athlete has ever kept their personal life more private than the former Yankee captain. If anyone could get engaged to their supermodel girlfriend and then get married without anyone finding out about it, it’s Jeter.

Remember, one of the only juicy pieces of information we have ever learned about Jeter’s personal life turned out to be bogus (or so the 40-year-old says). Jeter could write a best-selling novel on misleading the paparazzi. Don’t be surprised if he sneaks a wedding in someday without anyone knowing.
