Kanye West celebrated his 38th birthday on Monday, and the venue for the party was pretty impressive thanks to his wife Kim Kardashian.
Kardashian blindfolded West and drove him to the Staples Center, which she had rented out for the evening. When Kanye arrived, he saw that a bunch of his buddies were wearing basketball uniforms and had been split into two teams — East vs. West.

Washington Wizards star John Wall joined the festivities, though he did not participate in the game. That could have something to do with his wrist injury or the fact that the teams wouldn’t be fair if Wall played for one.

This was obviously Kim K.’s way of paying Kanye back for that time he rented out an MLB ballpark to celebrate her birthday and propose to her.
