Lolo Jones denies she is dating Ndamukong Suh, jokes about Super Bowl
On Thursday, a gossip website reported that Lolo Jones and Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh are dating and that Lolo was a special guest at Detroit’s season opener against St. Louis. Jones put the rumor to rest during an interview with ESPN Playbook later in the day, and she showcased some of her trademark witty sarcasm in the process.
“We are not currently dating,” Jones said. “However, if the Lions win the Super Bowl and he wants to use the ring to propose to me, then we’ll see.”
That sounds like a typical Lolo answer, as we know she loves to joke around and has even gotten herself into a little bit of trouble with her sense of humor before. From the sound of it, the Olympic hurdler’s virginity is still in tact and she is still in search of the man of her dreams.
Lolo and Suh share the same agent and share some of the same responsibilities, but she insists the two of them are just friends. Similar rumors popped up back in April and Jones denied them at that time as well, so she is either adamant about keeping the relationship a secret, or a big deal is being made out of nothing.
