Blues GM Doug Armstrong curses out ‘garbage’ officials for blown call
The St Louis Blues were screwed on a blown call by the officials during Game 3 of the Western Conference final that left everyone on their team upset. That included their GM, who let the referees hear it.
According to NHL.com reporter Lou Korac, Blues GM Doug Armstrong slammed his hand on the officials’ door and cursed, calling them/their mistake “garbage.”

The San Jose Sharks won the game 5-4 on an overtime goal by Erik Karlsson. An illegal hand pass by the Sharks preceded the goal, but the refs missed it and did not blow the whistle to stop play as they should have. That call is not reviewable, so the goal was allowed to stand, giving San Jose the win.
The call puts San Jose ahead 2-1 in the series. Blues fans and their players were furious about the call and inability to review it, while the Sharks continue to be boosted by bad calls in the playoffs.
