Watch: John Tortorella trips on way to rink before Game 4
John Tortorella did not get off to the smoothest of starts for Thursday’s playoff game against the Boston Bruins.
As he headed to the ice for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series between his Blue Jackets and the Bruins in Columbus, Torts tripped.

With all the smoke around from the show they put on before the game, it’s easy to see how he may have lost his step.
That may have been an omen of what was to come as Boston got out to an early 2-0 lead in the contest.
Tortorella is in his third season as Columbus’ head coach and has taken them to the playoffs three straight years. This is their first time in franchise history advancing past the first round of the postseason. His straightforward demeanor seems to be playing well in Columbus.
