Craig Sager has received an enormous amount of support during his battle with leukemia. On Saturday, he received encouraging words from a former heavyweight boxing champion.

Sager’s leukemia had been in remission, but he announced late last month that is no longer the case. Sager is still working games during his fight with the disease and did so on Saturday at the NCAA Tournament.

While in Houston at the the Final Four, George Foreman stopped by the TBS set for a visit with Clark Kellogg, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley. At that time, Foreman presented Sager a pair of signed boxing gloves. On one of them are the words “We fight till the bell rings.”

There’s no doubting Sager will continue to fight his battle. Count us at LBS among the many who hope he comes out victorious.
