Craig Sager says doctors told him he has 3-6 months to live
Craig Sager has revealed that his leukemia is no longer in remission. Worse yet, the NBA on TNT sideline reporter says doctors told him he has no more than six months to live.
In an interview with HBO’s “Real Sports” that will air Tuesday night, Sager tells Bernard Goldberg that doctors have told him he has 3-6 months to live. Sager said he is determined to live longer and has every intention of “fighting this thing to the end.”

Sager was diagnosed with leukemia in April 2014, and he announced less than a year later that the cancer had returned. He had a bone marrow transplant with the help of his son, and we shared much of that heartwarming story with you here. Sager returned to his duties with TNT at the start of the 2015-2016 season.
This is obviously devastating news for sports fans. We wish Sager the best and certainly hope he is able to defy the odds.
