
Israel Adesanya put on a show on Sunday at UFC 243 in Melbourne.
Adesanya beat Robert Whittaker via second-round TKO to capture the UFC middleweight championship. Things looked like they would start well for him based on his walk out show to the cage.

Adesanya carried that over into his match with Whittaker. He knocked his opponent down just at the end of the first round and had to be stopped from going after Whittaker even more.

Then in the second, Adesanya took a big left to the face but knocked Whittaker down with a 1-2 punch combination . Adesanya jumped on Whittaker and began to pound him before being the fight was stopped, giving Adesanya the win.
Adesanya is now 18-0 in his pro MMA career and 7-0 since joining the UFC.
