Khabib leaves UFC 229 press conference early after Conor McGregor shows late
Khabib Nurmagomedov waits for no one.
The UFC 229 press conference took place on Thursday in Las Vegas, two days ahead of the anticipated UFC card that features Khabib and Conor McGregor in the main event. The event was scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm PT, but McGregor was late.
Khabib decided to answer questions without waiting for McGregor and then took off after about 15-20 minutes.
Dana White says he showed up to the venue at 2:57pm and was told Conor is en route — Khabib told him: "I'm not waiting, I'm doing the press conference. I'm a professional, I was here at 3." #UFC229

Khabib Nurmagomedov walks off the stage after 15 minutes. McGregor has not showed yet. The Eagle ain't waiting for him.

That’s a power move by Khabib. Why should he wait for McGregor if Conor is going to show up late? He shouldn’t have to, and he didn’t.
Khabib, who is 26-0, did not give a prediction about the manner by which he would win, but he did note that McGregor gets tired late in fights.
