Chaos breaks out as Khabib attacks Conor McGregor’s team after UFC 229 win
Khabib Nurmagomedov wasn’t satisfied with simply getting a win over Conor McGregor at UFC 229 on Saturday night in Las Vegas. He wanted revenge, too.
Khabib choked out McGregor in the fourth round of their fight to retain his UFC lightweight championship belt and remain undefeated. But after he got McGregor to tap, he hopped the cage and went after McGregor’s team, including fighter Dillon Danis. A member of Khabib’s team then jumped into the cage and went after Conor.

Khabib, and his team member who went into the cage and attacked Conor, are likely facing serious discipline from the UFC for their actions.
Nurmagomedov made it clear during the week that he had beef with McGregor. This has been an ongoing issue that escalated in April with McGregor’s bus attack prior to UFC 223.
