Conor McGregor, entourage reportedly attacked bus at UFC 223 media event

Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor and a group of his friends reportedly got into an altercation at a media event for UFC 223 on Thursday, and it sounds like the incident got ugly in a hurry.

According to TMZ, McGregor and his entourage attacked a bus that was leaving the Barclays Center with several UFC fighters inside, one of them being Khabib Nurmagomedov. Witnesses say a chair was thrown through one of the bus windows, and UFC lightweight contender Michael Chiesa was reportedly left bloodied.

Here’s more:

Fighters were at the arena doing media ahead of UFC 223 … and McGregor was videotaped by several witnesses cruising around the arena before the incident.

Police sources tell us NYPD got a call for a fight at Barclays involving 25 males … and EMS was called to the scene to treat injuries.

Unclear what may have triggered the incident, but Khabib did get into a heated confrontation with Conor’s good friend and training partner, Artem Lobov, Tuesday at the UFC fighters’ hotel.

A video that a witness shared on Instagram claimed to have shown McGregor picking up a guard rail and charging at the bus with it. Beware that the video contains inappropriate language:

McGregor is known for being unapologetic and reckless at times, and you may remember that he was supposedly wanted by the Irish cartel at one point. Based on some of the reported details from Thursday’s incident, this would be excessive even for him.
