We typically don’t go with inappropriate headlines here at LBS, but this one was just too good to pass up.
Japanese pole vaulter Hiroki Ogita was unable to clear the 5.3m mark after his friend got in the way during one of his runs on Monday:

Ogita eventually cleared that mark and made it up to 5.45, but he only finished 21st and failed to make it beyond qualification. But he will go down as having one of the most memorable highlights from the Olympics, that’s for sure.
