Sage Watson – Olympic 400m hurdler you should know
Sage Watson is a Canadian track and field athlete competing in the 400m hurdles at the Olympics.
Watson finished second in the Canadian Olympic Trials in the 400m hurdles to qualify for the Summer Games in Rio.
She ran in qualifying at Rio on Monday and finished second in her heat with a time of 55.93, which placed her 12th overall. The semifinals will be on Tuesday.
Watson is from Medicine Hat in Canada but actually moved to the U.S. for college. She spent her first three years at Florida State and then transferred to Arizona. She was a four-time All-American in college.
Watson’s boyfriend, Justin Bright, played college football at Florida state.
