Usain Bolt celebrates with Rio mascot Vinicius after winning gold
Usain Bolt has done it again!
The Jamaican sprinter made history at the Rio Olympics on Sunday when he won gold in the 100m sprint, becoming the first athlete to ever win gold in the 100m in three straight Olympics.
Bolt won with a time of 9.81. He started off very slowly and was trailing American Justin Gatlin until about the final third of the race, when he bolted ahead. Gatlin finished with a time of 9.89 to win silver. Andre de Grasse won bronze with a 9.91 time.
After winning the race, Bolt went and grabbed a stuffed version of Rio mascot Vinicius and walked all around the track with it. He posed for tons of photos with it and then gave the stuffed mascot to some fans in the stands.
