Doc Week 17

Doc Brown is wrapping up yet another successful season of picks and will look to go out with a big bang!

Doc and Del just so happen to have very similar picks for Week 17, which is always a good sign. We’re following many historical trends established over the course of the season and past ones, which helped us arrive at our picks in a confident matter.

You’ll notice a few surprises below:

(ATS = Against the Spread, SU = Straight Up)

Doc Week 17

Doc Brown is rolling with the Colts once again as his lock of the week. Indy has been great against weak competition and is an incredible frontrunner. Against poor teams, they tend to run up the score into the 40s, which has helped them go 10-5 against the number. Even better, against the bad teams within the division, they are 5-0 against the spread. They are undoubtedly upset about getting blasted by the Cowboys last weekend and will want to gain momentum going into the playoffs. Putting up 40 on Tennessee will help them get back on track.

Doc is also going against the three questionable quarterbacks in Week 17. Connor Shaw might do alright for the Browns, but this is a matter of depending on the Ravens to bounce back like they usually do following a loss. Chase Daniel also should be steady for the Chiefs, but KC is also giving points. If San Diego is getting them, we’ll take it. Doc expects San Diego to win outright like they did last week, even if they will be without Keenan Allen and Ryan Mathews again. Oh, and Ryan Lindley? Notify us when he throws a touchdown and then the Doc will think about taking the Cardinals. Arizona’s defense and special teams will need to put up 10 points to cover this one. Doc doubts that will happen.
