Week 12 expert NFL Picks against the spread – Doc’s locks
Doc Brown has now posted five consecutive winning weeks in the picks and is producing some very solid percentages. The only thing that needs to be picked up are the top 3 picks, which have been pathetic this season.
Doc likes the Bills, Browns and Giants as locks.

Kansas City has been hot lately having won four in a row, all by at least a double-digit margin. Doc knows they’re a strong team, but so are the Bills when Tyrod Taylor is playing. Buffalo is 5-5 on the season but 5-3 when Taylor starts. He keeps them close in games and produces. With him in there, this should be a field goal game. Thankfully Rex Ryan says his shoulder is good and he’s ready to roll for Sunday’s contest — it will be close.
The Giants are coming off a bye and will be prepared for the Redskins, as Steve Spagnuolo will have had time to plug up their defensive problems. They are the best team in the NFC East and will take command in the division with a win at Washington. They had the Patriots on the ropes and should have won that one, and they scored 48 points against the Saints despite the loss. The Skins won’t be able to keep up with the Giants’ offense and passing game.
Baltimore will be going with Matt Schaub at quarterback on Monday night for the first time all season. Once upon a time Schaub was good, but he has become incapable. In his last two seasons of action, he has thrown 10 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Doc doesn’t think he’ll change his turnover ways. Cleveland is also wisely going back to Josh McCown at quarterback. He is just much better and much more reliable than Johnny Manziel, and it’s about time they went back to him.
