Wayne Rooney added another highlight to his career reel with an unbelievable goal to give D.C. United a lead.
Early in the first half of Wednesday’s game against Orlando City, Rooney saw Orlando goalkeeper Brian Rowe off his line and decided to try his luck from beyond midfield. Rooney launched a shot that sailed over Rowe’s head and into the back of the net.

The goal was Rooney’s ninth of the season. He entered play fourth in MLS in goals scored this season.
