Lolo Jones and another bobsled hopeful were involved in a fight with the stepdaughter of a bobsled official at a Lake Placid bar over the weekend, according to a few reports.
FOX Sports Radio’s Amy Van Dyken-Rouen, a former Olympic swimmer, reported on her “FOX Sports Tonight” show (34:00 mark) that Lolo knocked out the daughter of Tony Carlino at a club. Carlino is the former Team USA bobsled coach and head of the Lake Placid track where the team is training.
Van Dyken-Rouen says word about the incident hadn’t gotten out because the team was told to keep the incident quiet.
A few folks on Twitter mentioned seeing Lolo at a bar that night.

Deadspin says the incident occurred at Roomers Night Club in Lake Placid after 1:00 a.m. early Saturday morning. A witness told them Carlino’s stepdaughter was visibly drunk and verbally confronted Jones by the dance floor. Lolo pushed her down and left, and the stepdaughter followed Jones outside where they were separated by bouncers. Aja Evans is the other bobsledder supposedly involved in the incident.

As most of you know, Lolo Jones has been training to compete in bobsledding at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia. The track and field star decided to make the switch so she would not have to wait until the 2016 Olympics to compete for a medal, but she has apparently been unhappy with the pay.
On Monday, Jones posted a Vine video expressing her disappointment with the $741.84 paycheck she got from the US Bobsled and Skeleton Foundation. The clip is below. You can click the icon in the top left corner to turn the volume on and off.
Steven Holcomb, an Olympic gold medalist and the most accomplished bobsledder in US history, did not find Jones’ charade to be entertaining. In fact, he said it was a “slap in the face” that irritated other athletes in the sport.
Lolo Jones announced back in October that she has decided to train to compete in bobsledding at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia, and it appears as though she is sticking with it. On Tuesday, Jones suffered an apparent injury to her hand while training in Russia. She tweeted the photo you see above with her hand bandaged up and the following caption.
“Injured at Practice. Hand bleeding. Need stitches. Stuck. Road closed. If I could give the middle finger I would.”
However, the injury did not result in Jones losing her notorious sense of humor. Naturally, she found a way to work her virginity into the equation.
Lolo Jones came under scrutiny on Tuesday after responding to a Twitter challenge from paralyzed former football player Eric LeGrand with a few taunts.
LeGrand, who frequently tweets at other athletes, asked Jones if she wanted to race. Jones sent back a few taunting tweets before learning that LeGrand has been in a wheelchair since suffering a spinal cord injury in a 2010 Rutgers-Army game.
The Olympic hurdler began defending herself for the mishap and seemed to regret the gaffe, but she didn’t officially apologize until hours later.
“I’m truly sorry if I offended anyone by my tweet,” Jones told Yahoo! Sports’ Kristian Dryer. “When Eric challenged me to a race earlier all I knew was that he was a football player, but certainly had no idea he had become paralyzed from a football injury. I thought I was tweeting in good fun like I always do with the many athletes who challenge me to races.”
Jones’ Twitter account has been silent since Tuesday evening. LeGrand expressed support for Jones again on Wednesday. He tweeted the following message:

Lolo Jones figured she was just responding to another boastful athlete when she challenged Eric LeGrand to a race, but she was left embarrassed and remorseful after learning the former Rutgers football player is paralyzed.
LeGrand is a former defensive tackle who was paralyzed after suffering a spinal cord injury during a Rutgers-Army game on Oct. 16, 2010. LeGrand has been in a wheelchair since then, but he’s remained in the public eye because of his positive attitude and inspirational response to the injury.
LeGrand happened to tweet at Jones on Tuesday, challenging the Olympic hurdler to a race:
Jones likely saw from LeGrand’s Twitter profile that he bills himself as a defensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (his former Rutgers coach Greg Schiano signed him to a one-day contract with the team), and she began taunting him in response.
“Get Checked for a concussion,” she wrote back to LeGrand. “Clearly, u’ve been hit in the head… Cos u arnt beating a track athlete.”
On Thursday, a gossip website reported that Lolo Jones and Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suhare dating and that Lolo was a special guest at Detroit’s season opener against St. Louis. Jones put the rumor to rest during an interview with ESPN Playbook later in the day, and she showcased some of her trademark witty sarcasm in the process.
“We are not currently dating,” Jones said. “However, if the Lions win the Super Bowl and he wants to use the ring to propose to me, then we’ll see.”
That sounds like a typical Lolo answer, as we know she loves to joke around and has even gotten herself into a little bit of trouble with her sense of humor before. From the sound of it, the Olympic hurdler’s virginity is still in tact and she is still in search of the man of her dreams.
Lolo and Suh share the same agent and share some of the same responsibilities, but she insists the two of them are just friends. Similar rumors popped up back in April and Jones denied them at that time as well, so she is either adamant about keeping the relationship a secret, or a big deal is being made out of nothing.
