Bret Hart set to have skin cancer removed
Bret Hart shared on Instagram Thursday that he was diagnosed with skin cancer.
Hart, a wildly popular wrestler who was a WWF and WCW champion in the ’90s, shared a photo on Instagram of his upper left shoulder. In his caption, Hart said he was set to have “basal cell carcinoma” removed soon.
“Goal for 2020 and beyond: wear more sunscreen! Basal cell carcinoma removal scheduled soon. Another opportunity to remind everyone to look after your health and #getchecked,” Hart wrote.
Basal cell carcinoma is the most common form of skin cancer. Hart’s post is a good reminder to make sure you wear sunblock to protect yourself from skin cancer.
The Hitman, 62, lives in Calgary. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006.
