Ric Flair: Brock Lesnar is ‘once in a lifetime’
Brock Lesnar is an incredibly popular figure, not to mention an incredibly talented athlete and entertainer.
Not only did he develop a career as a WWE superstar, but Lesnar also tried out to be an NFL player and has won the UFC heavyweight championship. Very few have the talents to succeed/compete in one of those leagues, let alone three.
It’s that type of talk that led wrestling Hall of Famer Ric Flair to praise Lesnar strongly during an interview before the ESPYS.
“Brock is once in a lifetime. He’s a special guy. He brings a lot,” Flair said of Lesnar. “Personally, I wouldn’t want to be Randy Orton at SummerSlam. Brock has a hard time turning it down. Five weeks after the octagon, he’s gotta be at SummerSlam in New York against Randy Orton, and Randy Orton’s been out six months. What a way to be back.”
When you hear Flair put it like that, it’s hard to disagree. Lesnar is once in a lifetime, and fans seem to know it, which is why they consume all the events he’s a part of. But we do know one person who probably will roll his eyes at Flair’s comments about Lesnar.
