Russell Wilson downplayed the severity of his ankle injury after his team’s win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, but one report indicates it is more serious than he is letting on.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Wilson has a sprained ankle that could result in him sitting out Week 2.
#Seahawks QB Russell Wilson shrugged it off, but I'm told his sprained ankle is significant. It puts his availability vs #Rams into question

Wilson suffered the injury on a play where he was sacked by Ndamukong Suh in the third quarter. While people would love to think otherwise, there was clearly no intent by Suh. You can see a video of the play here.
The Seahawks barely escaped with a win over Miami in a game that was expected to be a blowout. If they have to travel to Los Angeles next weekend to face a tough Rams defense without Wilson, they could really be in trouble.
