Red Sox held agility challenge to determine who would travel for road game (Videos)
The Red Sox will face the Marlins on Tuesday in Jupiter, FL, which is about two and a half hours away from their spring training complex in Fort Myers by bus. Because bus trips typically aren’t on the list of things players enjoy about spring training, the Red Sox held an agility challenge on Sunday to determine who would be hitting the road.
David Ortiz served as referee with two teams of 10 battling in different drills.

Hanley Ramirez and Dustin Pedroia are among those who will be Jupiter-bound for Tuesday’s game. As you can see, the winning team was quite happy to be staying put.

Hats off to the Red Sox for using a fun way to decide the team to face the Marlins. It certainly looks like the players took the competition seriously.
