Report: Blake Griffin could be growing more open to leaving Clippers
Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin is a free agent at season’s end, and one report indicates that he might be more open to leaving than he had been previously.
Bleacher Report’s Kevin Ding reported Thursday that more people around the NBA believe Griffin is increasingly open to a “fresh start” somewhere else, with the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, and Oklahoma City Thunder being listed as potentially intriguing options.
Ding cautioned, however, that Griffin is involved in the entertainment industry, which could offer some incentives to stay in Los Angeles.
All indications are that the Clippers are motivated to keep Griffin and fellow free agent Chris Paul, and will do what it takes to do it. That is, in all likelihood, the most likely outcome, though maybe Griffin is having second thoughts.
