Chris Paul sends Clippers to second round with ridiculous shot (Video)

Chris Paul may have put an end to the San Antonio Spurs’ reign with an incredible shot made in the final second of Game 7 to send the Los Angeles Clippers to the second round of the playoffs, and he did it all playing on only one good leg.

Paul missed some action in the first half when he went to the locker room because of a hamstring injury, but he returned and led the team to its biggest series win in franchise history.

Paul led the Clippers with 27 points on 9-of-13 shooting, including 5-for-6 on threes and 4-of-4 at the free throw line. Blake Griffin was also huge for the Clippers as he was all series, posting a triple-double with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. But it was Paul’s improbable shot, all while being guarded by Tim Duncan, that broke a tie and gave the Clippers the 111-109 win.

The Clippers shot 52.6 percent in the game — including an absurd 51.9 percent from long range — to get the win. Tim Duncan had 27 points and 11 rebounds in the defeat. A career 69.6 percent free throw shooter, he made two clutch free throws in the final 10 seconds to tie the game. It took an incredible shot by Paul to knock the Spurs out of the playoffs.
