Dirty Dwyane Wade kicks Ramon Sessions in groin (Video)

dwyane-wade-ramon-sessionsDwyane Wade may be the sneakiest dirty player in the NBA. Wade has a clean-cut image that obscures how unsportsmanlike he behaves on the court.

Wade doesn’t just do what he can to win; he will actually injure an opponent if he has to. We’ve seen that time and time again. His actions on Wednesday were just the latest in an alarming pattern of dirty plays he’s committed.

During the Heat-Bobcats game on Wednesday, Wade kicked Charlotte guard Ramon Sessions in the groin for absolutely no reason:

Don’t even try to tell me that was accidental. Wade did it intentionally probably figuring he could get away with it — and he did. He was not called for a foul.

“I thought he did it on purpose,” Sessions said after the game.

What’s scary is that Wade pulls this type of move constantly. Remember Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals in 2011 when Wade pulled down Rajon Rondo, resulting in a dislocated elbow?

Or what about last season’s Eastern Conference Semifinals when Wade trucked Darren Collison from behind on a fast break?

Or how about when Wade laid into Rip Hamilton in April, pushing the Bulls guard with full force:

Still not convinced? Wade gave Kobe a broken nose and mild concussion during the All-Star Game with this dirty foul:

Dwyane Wade is definitely the dirtiest player in the NBA that nobody talks about. I don’t care how much money he pays his publicists to get him phony awards like “Father of the Year,” or how fashionable he fancies himself. He must be doing all that as a cover-up. I think these five videos tell you a lot more about him than any of that other garbage. He’s such a good player, it’s a real shame he has to stoop to this level.

The reason I made it a point to bring out the friendly allstar game was exactly that, WHY? why do that in a friendly? Jeezus Christ use some common sense.
Have you not been reading anything in this thread from both sides?
Okay Okay You win, Larry posted a great thread and DWade is a mean unsportsmanlike player in the NBA and all those video clips only show how horrible he is and no one else.
P.S. since you brought up the Bryant nose issue again, He admitted after the game that Wade didn’t do it on purpose.

  • Sinner777

Key word scoreme1 is “valid point”. Your point is eluding me at this time. It seems you’ve taken the mission of rebutting anyone whom you deem worthy tonight. Before you get steamed and go off on another meaningless rant I’m making this my last reply on this AWESOME post. I can’t help but get the feeling your somehow (donno how) on Larrys Christmas list for 2013…. It’s precisely guys like you that make educated people LOL every time you attack people that post something contrary to your liking.
Good luck in your quest to eradicate all thos that appose LB….

Wade gets away with his dirty play partly because his face looks like innocent infant on the Gerber baby food jar. I’ve watched him since the early rivalry days between the Pistons and the Heat and he has had numerous other cheap plays that have never received much scrutiny until now.

  • Scoreme1

So we agree, why do that in a friendly?  Yes, and the point is just as valid if Larry Brown writes about it.  That is using common sense.

I really don’t care if Larry Brown had a great article or not.  My point to you was simply to say that you can actually defend Wade legitimately.  Brown is a journalist and is simply giving people things to discuss.  Perhaps his point is valid, perhaps not, but it seems that providing evidence of some sort is a good thing, even if the sample size is only 5 incidents.  How many videos should he have shown?

I just don’t see why people get so up in arms if Wade is called a dirty player.  Lots of great players have been dirty.  I am not sure what your personal stake is.  Why does it bother you so much whether Wade might be called dirty?  The entire Detroit Pistons team were known as dirty players with Laimbeer and Thomas leading the way.  They embraced it.  It is just making a simple point, that is, Wade just might be a dirtly player.

I certainly didn’t say that no one else is dirty.  I didn’t say that Wade was horrible, so I’m not sure where you are getting that.

P.S.  Did you see the All-Star game where Kobe had his nose broken by Wade?   I cannot know a person’s intention. Neither can Kobe.  All I can say is that from what I saw that it was a very unnecessary hard foul by Wade.  Whether he really wanted to break Kobe’s nose or whatever, isn’t necessarily the point.

he is a nobody shaq gave him first ring and lebron got him his second hes not good enough to do on his own hes acheater and always will be

  • Scoreme1

Let me spell out my point.  You can defend Wade, you can defend your point, you can defend all that you do and say by legitimate means.  To simply call people names, to simply say that anyone that challenges you is on Larry’s Christmas list, is just not a legitimate way to defend or make your point.

Yes, it is exactly people like myself, that might actually want you to make a good argument that make allegedly educated people like yourself laugh.  As you should realize, I actually said that Samuel Williams made a good argument.  Didn’t you read that far in my post to you?

Again, I don’t really care about Brown’s article.  I was simply wanting a legitimate response from someone with an opposing view.  Samuel Williams made that point, though, so it’s all good.  Cheers.

  • Tom Hebbe

Dwayne Wade should have been banned from the NBA for life for intentionally rolling up on Rondo in the dislocation of Rondo’s elbow.  Dwayne Wade is a sad excuse for a professional anything. It is ridiculous what he gets away with in the name of being a fierce competitor.

  • Scoreme1

The truth is I think that basketball is just a rough sport.  I’d have to admit that I might be a “dirty” player.  I don’t know.  I never had the skill and ability to ever play even close to such a high level.  Most of us who have not played at such a high level cannot truly imagine what it is like.  We expect these guys to behave better than most of us do when someone pulls out in front of us in their car.

I’m not making a judgment about Wade.  Maybe he is dirty, maybe not.  Maybe I would be, maybe not.  I just think that the expectations are so high, and everything is so meticulously scrutinized that anything a person does can be held as suspect.  I think that just goes to show just how gracious those players really are that never have any controversy surrounding them.

Samuel Williams, you may now walk the plank blind-folded and concrete solidified boots.

Always a pathetic excuse for every one of his dirty plays eh?  Rondo pulled him down!  It was retaliation!

Obviously you’re seeing things through a biased lens, as all rational people can see the truth.

  • http://twitter.com/kreider65 Blanche Starbong

It was a no-call because it was a no-foul. Even the announcers said there was no foul. Watch it again, J-LAME.

You’re the dumbest person I’ve seen post on this article.

You all that hate wade are just jealouus to admit the fact that he is the next MJ or maybe even better. He is an aggressive player that loves the game and loves to win, Quit being Jack-asses and face reality!

  • http://twitter.com/kreider65 Blanche Starbong

No. You embarrass him and he will try to injure someone, anyone. And he gets embarrassed a lot.

  • http://twitter.com/kreider65 Blanche Starbong

Broken nose and concussion = dirty. Get off Wade’s jock. Unless you’re getting paid, that is.

  • http://twitter.com/kreider65 Blanche Starbong

He falls down so much because he flops so much. That’s nobody’s fault but his own.

  • http://twitter.com/kreider65 Blanche Starbong

He is old and over the hill. That’s why he sucks now.

am sorry… but dwayne wade…. is dirty like the makeabetterworld from the lakers…. yes… am mocking the name of that prick of the lakers!!   …. the nba and refs suck….. wade should be getting more than fouls and suspensions….. even lebron james knew that what he did with kicking ramon in the groin is unsportmenlike ….

  • http://twitter.com/kreider65 Blanche Starbong

Please get a dictionary and look up the word “justify”. It makes your entire post seem like its from a stupid person.

“Oldschool”. The ever present excuse for poor sportsmanship.

  • http://twitter.com/kreider65 Blanche Starbong

Yup. And Wade is the former.

  • Talmar

Wade was embarrassed and felt insulted when Kobe just drove and passed by him, so he took an
unnecessary reckless hard foul from behind on Kobe for retaliation.

  • http://www.facebook.com/cafecubano.portal CafeCubano Portal

This is all a joke. For all of you wimps that don’t know what a dirty player is. Look up Dennis Rodamn. Please, leave Wade alone. He’s a great ball player and some of you can’t face that fact.

  • Howard Andrade

the next time you decide to show your ignorance, at least use spell check or invest in a dictionary, please.

  • robcobra

Hey that guy sure got up pretty fast after suposely getting kick in the balls. I think he was the one flopping.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/JNV64GMUESFG3GB6PG2IX7LRFE Jason Foy

I don’t know what you saw, but I saw only 2 plays that were with excessive force of the 5 that you showed. I must not have my Hater glasses on. If you have played sports competitively for a decent amount of time you will get frustrated and sometimes aggressive that does not make you a dirty player. We don’t know what things are being said or what the other players have gotten away with in that game or others, but I understand Wade has 2 rings and probably will have 3 to 4 more before everything is said and done. As for the comment of wade sucks and the only reason he has a ring is because of Shaq and Lebron correct me if I am wrong, but Shaq did not win anything after he left the Heat and Lebron did not win anything before he came to the Heat….. HMMMMMMM

THANKS MAN EVERYONE GETS FOULED JORDAN WOULD BE ALMOST THROWING PUNCHES WHEN YOU ENTERED THE LANE ITS PART OF IT WITHOUT CONDONING BS PLAY. THIS IS PART OF BASKETBALL IN THE NBA FIERCE COMPETION.NEVER ENTERED MY MIND HE PLAYED DIRTY.I THINK ANY GUARD IN THE NBA WITHOUT A DIRTY SIDE MEANING A GUARD GOTTA BE A LITTLE MEAN.AFTER ALL LITTLE MAN PLAYING WITH THE BIGS.NEVER GOT EVEN A FLAGRANT ANYTHING.IF YOU EVER PLAY IN THE PROJECTS OR ON THE STREETS IT MAY SEEM VERY DIRTY BUT NOT REALLY JUST BOYS HAVING FUN. WADE JUST A COMPETITOR ENTITLED TO YOUR OWN OPP.THERES INJURY IN THE NBA EVERYDAY ITS PLAYED NOT BECAUSE SOMEONE IS DIRTY BECAUSE ITS PART OF IT PHYSICAL AGGRESSION

  • Brendan Gallagher

I like how most people are saying “You could find this clip show for any player!!!” or are trying to qualify his dirty fouls as retaliation for a non-call. So many fallacies in those arguments, but I think you people aren’t realizing that all of these are from the past 2 1/2 seasons. Its not like the writer scoured all of Wade’s career, he brainstormed 5 incidents off the top of his head from Very recent memory.

  • Brendan Gallagher

I think another point is that he’s a “sneaky” dirty player. The writer is not trying to say he’s the dirtiest player in the league. He’s trying to say that his image is extremely clean cut when in reality he’s making dirty plays like some other NBA players.
This reminds me of when Suh had his first couple scrutinized plays. At first most analysts said he just plays hard/emotional and isn’t dirty, which was the impression you got from all of his news conference (looked clean cut, spoke extremely well and calmly, apologized, and never bragged or boasted). Because of that it took until he stomped a guy for everyone to finally come to grips with the fact that he makes dirty plays, whether its due to planned intent or uncontrollable emotion. I think if Wade keeps down this path and has a couple more plays similar to the collison one, it will be tough for him to not receive a dirty player image.

I would just like to respond to your opinion with stating the fact that Kobe Bryant has been on an All Defensive Team in the NBA 12 times. And I will now like to state my opinion that you are a complete idiot to state such an idiotic opinion. :D

Larry Brown just wants to write “sensational” news ’cause is Dwade of the Miami Heat which is on the top of the NBA.—Remember how Wade was getting pounded back in the days: Rip Hamilton used to cheap-shot Wade all the time in Detroit; Kirk Hindrich broke Wade’s wrist; Rondo was the one aggressively pulling down Wade then got what he deserved; a lot of other stuff. Where was Larry Brown then?… One day, if Lebron retaliates against a hit, Larry Brown is going to be the first to call it dirty, wow.

  • HotSauce

Wade put on an incredible performance in their 2006 Finals Championship. Shaq averaged 13 pts and 10 reb for the series. Solid numbers, but not overwhelming.

  • Igolfer

Wade would treat you the same way after you wade through a crowd to gawk at him and smile in his face. Larry Brown has his eyes wide open. You have closed your eyes – which explains your tripping all over yourself to defend him. He is an arrogant, thuggish, (c)heat!

  • daure

May be i should punch your nose or kick your groin and tell you that  i am aggressive player..

  • 6time

Pretty  simple  sinner  Larry’s  just  speaking  the  truth.  Trying  proving  him      wrong.  Wade  just  think’s  his  crap  don’t  stink  just  like  Lebron  he’s  a  big  cry  baby  when  does  not  win.  When  he  is  not  winning  this  is  what  he  turns  to.   lol
