Festus Ezeli wishes everyone a Happy Festivus
Festus Ezeli has got a lot of problems with you people! And now you’re gonna hear about it!
The Warriors backup center, whose name bears a striking resemblance to Festivus, the fictitious holiday brainchild of Frank Costanza from the 1997 episode “The Strike” of Seinfeld, took time out of his busy winter schedule to wish the season’s greetings upon everyone.

Festivus is, of course, the secular alternative to the commercialism and clamor of Christmas and is celebrated every year on December 23rd. And it’s good to know that the defending NBA champions find tinsel distracting too.
If we had to put money on it, we’d probably bet that it will be Andrew Bogut and Draymond Green doing the Feats of Strength while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson fetch the aluminum pole out of the crawlspace.
Golden State’s 26-1 start to the season is nothing short of a Festivus miracle, and it’s great to see Ezeli embracing his heritage.
After all, he probably still has a lot of grievances to air out from back in his rookie season.
