Kobe Bryant took his helicopter to the Dodgers game

Kobe Bryant attended the Los Angeles Dodgers’ game on Wednesday night, and the Lakers star arrived in style. Bryant shared a photo on his Instagram account of him on his way to the game:

That picture appears to have been taken from a helicopter, which is Bryant’s usual method of transportation when going from Orange County to downtown LA. A 2010 GQ profile on Bryant revealed that he takes helicopters to Staples Center for his games to avoid traffic and keep his body fresh.

The Dodgers are playing the New York Yankees for a two-game series, which is attracting many extra fans to the stadium. Several celebrities were on hand for Tuesday’s game, and many more were there for Wednesday. But it may not have been the allure of the storied Yanks that got Kobe to the park on Wednesday.

Kobe met with Dodgers star outfielder Yasiel Puig, who was touring the Lakers’ facilities, earlier in the day. Maybe one superstar convinced the other to come watch the team play.
