LeBron James, David West flop simultaneously during Game 4 (Video)

LeBron-David-West-flopLeBron James had an interesting night on Tuesday when the Miami Heat lost to the Indiana Pacers in Game 4, evening their series at 2-2. For starters, LeBron fouled out for just the fifth time in his career when he was called for an illegal screen with 54 seconds left in the game. Prior to that, there was the simultaneous flop between him and David West.

It was a tremendous acting job from both James and West, and an even better job by the officials to not blow the whistle. The two barely made contact with one another, but that didn’t stop them from reacting like they had just been shot. Here’s the play in GIF form, courtesy of Deadspin:

We should also mention that this is the same LeBron who insisted he is not a flopper earlier in the week but made it clear he is not completely opposed to flopping. If the video above doesn’t convince you he’s a liar, I don’t know what will.
