LeBron James doesn’t let his sons play football
Add LeBron James to the list of dads who are not comfortable with the idea of their sons playing football.
LeBron, who has two sons, told ESPN’s Chris Broussard over the weekend that he has not allowed LeBron Jr. or Bryce to play football.
I was surprised Friday when LeBron told me he doesn't let his sons play football. Only basketball, baseball & soccer in his house.

Broussard didn’t offer much context, but we’re guessing LeBron feels the same way Kurt Warner and some other athletes feel. The more we learn about head injuries and how they can affect a person later in life, the more uneasy parents feel about their kids playing a rough sport like football.
As you know, LeBron was a two-sport star in high school before he decided to focus all of his effort on basketball. He has even said in the past that he would love to play in the NFL.
