Mark Cuban pulls Super Bowl prank, claims he won $20 million on safety prop bet
Mark Cuban pulled a masterful prank on everyone early in the Super Bowl. A popular prop bet for the Super Bowl is what kind of score the first score of the game will be. The first score of Super Bowl XLVIII turned out to be a safety, which typically pays off at around 50:1 odds. That means if you threw $10 on the bet, you’d cash $500. Not bad huh?
Well Cuban screwed with everyone by saying he won $20 million on the prop bet:
I HAD SAFETY ON THE FIRST PLAY IN VEGAS !!!!!!!!!! 1mm to 1.. $20mm BABY. #Unbelievable

The guy’s already a billionaire, what the heck does he need an extra $20 million for, right?
Well 12 minutes later came the truth:
Psych :).
