Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets unveil nickname jerseys
As anticipated, the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat will be wearing jerseys with nicknames on the back of them when they face off on Jan. 10. We already showed you Ray Allen’s Jesus Shuttleworth jersey, which is sure to be a huge hit, but on Thursday some of the others were unveiled.
As you can see from the photo above that SLAM Magazine shared, LeBron James will be going with the standard “King James” while Norris Cole is apparently called “Cole Train.” Here are some of the Nets players’ jerseys:

Andrei Kirilenko is going with his name written in the Cyrillic alphabet, presumably because his “AK-47” nickname was not approved by the league. For the most part, the nicknames are everything we expected. I’m still holding out hope that someone will wow us with something hilarious.
