Nick Young apparently learned nothing from Jason Pierre-Paul’s devastating fireworks accident last year, because the Los Angeles Lakers swingman could have easily blown off his own hand — or worse — at a Fourth of July bash he hosted on Monday.
A video that was obtained by TMZ shows someone lighting a rather large firework just before Young reached in and grabbed the mortar while the fuse was lit. The force from the explosive caused Swaggy P to lose is grip, though he somehow escaped unharmed.
Did Young not see the way Pierre-Paul’s hand was left mangled (photo here) after a firework went off in his hand a year ago? That was a ridiculously idiotic thing to do. The Lakers can’t be happy about it.
