Andrew Jones explains why he was shooting baskets while getting leukemia treatment
Texas Longhorns guard Andrew Jones shared a video on Twitter Wednesday that gave some hope and reassurance about his situation.
Jones, who announced last month that he had been diagnosed with leukemia, shared a video of himself shooting some baskets:

So why would he be shooting baskets will being treated for leukemia? Jones explained:
I have to be active, can’t just stay in one spot all day.

Hopefully shooting and playing ball is uplifting his spirit and helping him fight.
Jones was averaging 13.5 points per game for the Longhorns this season. The team has been motivated to win in his honor and has defeated TCU, Texas Tech and Oklahoma since his announcement.
