Bill Walton was a riot while broadcasting the UCLA-Stanford basketball game on Thursday night. He went off on his typical tangents, ripped Bruins coach Steve Alford, talked about the Grateful Dead, and even mixed in Joshua Tree.
At one point, Walton went Brent Musburger and showed his affection for the UCLA dance team.
As ESPN returned from a commercial break late in the second half, they showed the Bruins dance team. Walton took that as an opportunity to encourage people to attend the school.
“Ahhh … so many reasons to attend UCLA,” he said.
Yup, the hoards of attractive women on campus were just one of many reasons why Walton loved Westwood.
At least this moment in broadcasting wasn’t as bad as Brent in this video.
