Steve Sarkisian, wife Stephanie getting a divorce
USC football coach Steve Sarkisian and his wife Stephanie are in the process of getting a divorce.
The news, which was first reported by SB Nation’s Conquest Chronicles blog, was confirmed earlier this week via a statement from Sarkisian through his reps.
“It is our desire to protect the privacy of our children and each other,” the statement read. “Our goal is to raise our children in a joint, cooperative style as caring and loving parents. Thank you for respecting our family’s privacy. We will have no further comment.”
Steve and Stephanie have been together since college. They got married after they graduated in 1997, just before Sarkisian headed to Saskatchewan for a brief stint as a CFL quarterback. The couple has three children together — two daughters and a son.
