Pat Mahomes, the father of Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was arrested during Saturday’s TCU-Texas Tech game for public intoxication.
Mahomes, 46, and another man were arrested for an incident by an off-duty police officer working the game.
Mahomes was taken into custody late in the game, which Texas Tech won 27-24 in double-overtime.
Mahomes was a professional baseball pitcher and spent 11 seasons in MLB. His son, a junior, threw for 206 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the win.
