Bills-Steelers second half delayed by black rubber pellets
The second half of the Bills-Steelers game in Buffalo was delayed after the snow plows running around the field at halftime dug up black rubber pellets that made the field conditions worse.
With it snowing in Buffalo, some plows came out at halftime to try clearing the field. But the plows dug up rubber pellets from the turf that turned the field black and made it worse.
The officials made the plows come back and try cleaning it up.

The third quarter eventually began after the delay. The conditions on the field were reminiscent of what happened at the Hall of Fame game.
