Darrelle Revis believes his former agent was behind a negative report about him that emerged last week.
Revis answered questions from the media on Wednesday and was asked about this report that came out last week saying he didn’t train hard in the offseason.
“You talking about Jason Cole?” Revis asked, referencing the Bleacher Report writer who published the report. “He’s just taking shots. That was a shot.”

Revis then was asked whether he thought Cole was taking a shot on behalf of the Jets cornerback’s ex-agent.
“Yeah, no doubt. No doubt. If that’s how they want to approach it, that’s how they approach it.”
Here’s video of Revis’ comments about the matter:

Newsday’s Jets reporter Kimberley A. Martin also got comment from Revis’ ex-agent Neil Schwartz, who did not address the report.

Revis fired Schwartz and Jonathan Feinsod in May after being with them since entering the league in 2007.
The Jets cornerback has struggled this year, getting roasted by Cincinnati’s A.J. Green in Week 1 and then the Bills’ Marquise Goodwin on this play in Week 2.
