Jon Ryan’s wife Sarah says punter in ‘good spirits’ after taking huge hit
Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan took a frightening hit after sprinting down the field on a fake punt Thursday night, but fortunately it appears he avoided any type of serious injury.
Early Friday morning, Ryan’s wife Sarah shared a photo on Twitter of her husband at the hospital and said he was in “good spirits.”

Ryan received medical attention on the field and was evaluated for a concussion, so it’s good to see that he was alert and smiling. The hit happened after he lost control of the ball while running up the middle of the field. You can see a video of the play here.
