The Green Bay Packers came out and laid an egg in Buffalo on Sunday, and nothing was a better example of their off game than this drop by Jordy Nelson.
Late in the third quarter, the Packers defense got a stop with some big plays and forced a Buffalo punt that was recovered at the Green Bay two. After a 4-yard run on first down, Aaron Rodgers spotted Jordy Nelson open on second down for what would have gone as a 94-yard touchdown catch. Unfortunately for Green Bay, Nelson somehow dropped the ball, costing the Packers a long, game-changing TD.
Had he caught the ball and scored on the play, it would have given the Packers a 17-16 lead. Instead, the Bills eventually got an interception and turned it into a field goal to go up 19-10. They won 21-13.
