Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was the talk of Twitter and NFL fans for his massive hit on Trindon Holliday on a kick return on Sunday night. But not all of the aftereffects of the hit were positive. McAfee may have caught the attention of the league and its drug testers with his big hit.
On Monday, McAfee tweeted to say he received a note in his locker telling him he had been selected for random drug testing:
Coincidence? I think not. Any time you have a punter laying fools out like that, red flags are raised. It’s like a puny dude with 20 career home runs bashing 8 bombs in a 2-week span. Drug tests are bound to happen.
