Richard Seymour Ejected After Pushing Ben Roethlisberger in the Face

The Oakland Raiders were so badly outclassed by the PIttsburgh Steelers Sunday that they had to resort to dirty play. Late in the second quarter with his team up 14-3, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw a touchdown pass to rookie Emmanuel Sanders. Roethlisberger must have said something to Raiders defensive end Richard Seymour after the TD because Seymour responded with an open palm punch to the face. Check it out:

Seymour got the boot after that move and pretty much took away any chance Oakland had at a comeback. The Raiders were completely overmatched, getting outgained 431-182. Oakland allowed six sacks, turned it over three times, and pretty much was pressured on every offensive play. Jason Campbell was totally ineffective and the Raiders should have changed to Bruce Gradkowski after halftime while they still had a chance instead of late in the third quarter. Meanwhile, Ben Roethlisberger had his second really good game of the season. He went 18-29 for 275 yards and three touchdowns, taking advantage of short fields on numerous occasions. Pittsburgh hasn’t become the dominant team I expected them to be, but they looked great on Sunday.
