Sprinklers delay Dolphins-Seahawks game (Video)

We have heard of home teams sabotaging the headsets of the visiting team to interrupt communication late in games, but a sprinkler delay? Outside of Buffalo Wild Wings commercials, that’s a new one.

During Sunday’s Dolphins-Seahawks game at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, the sprinklers went off and caused the game to be delayed a few minutes. The delay occurred during a Dolphins drive with about 1:40 left in the third quarter. The Dolphins ended up punting on that drive, but they won 24-21.
