Terry Bradshaw laid into Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, calling him “basically an enabler” for his handling of the Greg Hardy situation.
Bradshaw made the comments on Fox’s NFL pregame show on Sunday. First, he criticized Hardy, voicing his belief that nobody who lays a hand on a woman should be allowed back into the league. Then, he turned to Jones, who defended Hardy’s controversial comments during the week, labeling him desperate to bring Hardy into the fold and criticizing his role in Hardy’s controversial week.

“He has his first news conference, he makes a fool of himself, and Jerry goes out and says…he basically becomes an enabler himself,” Bradshaw said. “This is wrong. We have no place for this, and I’m actually tired of talking about the Hardys of the world, and I really, really, seriously hope that eventually we never have a place in the NFL for people that touch a woman, strike a woman.”
While NFL officials have already made clear their displeasure toward Hardy’s comments, Bradshaw is on a whole other level, as he has a huge platform as one of the most visible NFL analysts around. Notably, he used it not only to blast Hardy, but Jones as well.
