Tim Tebow given lifetime membership to Museum of Sex?

Looks like the NFL has its latest piggybacking publicity stunt. Following in the footsteps of the Lingerie Football League which announced the firing of referees on Monday night, the Museum of Sex in New York appears to have given Jets quarterback Tim Tebow a lifetime membership to the museum. Their offer came up because Tebow is a noted virgin.

According to Animal New York which first shared the story, the letter to Tebow states:

“We would like to welcome you to New York City area with a lifetime membership to the Museum of Sex. While we completely respect your choice to forgo having sex until after marriage, we hope you visit the Museum of Sex to learning (sic) more about the history, evolution, and cultural significance of human sexuality.”

The letter goes on to tell the benefits of a sexual life. They also mention the benefits of a lifetime membership to the museum.

You can see their letter to Tebow below:

First it was a bar in New York giving Tebow his own “No Sex on the Beach” drink, and now we have a sex museum giving him a lifetime membership. My how things have changed. I can only imagine what kind of crazy offers come in when he actually becomes the team’s starting quarterback.

You speak the truth, i applaud you for your beliefs and convictions. I would be ok with TT if the followers would admitt that he sucks as QB. He probably is a good role model, but don’t confuse that with being a good QB.

  • fwiIll49

    Donald Trump?

  • fwiIll49

More people like him yes, less QB like him

  • fwiIll49

You need help, not the one on one type, but a team of Drs. 24 hrs a day.

  • fwiIll49

Ashley, you are right. Football and God do not go together. I to think what the museum of sex did is funny. I do not feel bad for saying that for i feel that Our and Savior must have a sense of humor cause if he didn’t i would not either.

  • carolane88

Understand, you base your life on god, a ficticious thing, no and never any proof of this fiction created by man to control man, so don’t justify your actions by using a fairy tale, that works with Focus but not with people who actually pursue facts and think, stop bothering me

  • carolane88

we can all believe want we want but that doesn’t make it fact and justify hate against others having men teall woman what they should do, practice faith don’t impose it on others, and TT is a poor quarterback and basically a good guy misleaded by religious zealots

  • GatorJunkie

This lifetime membership thing is just another attempt to embarass Tim.  As for the TT haters and there are plenty; if you hate him so much and are sick of the attention he gets, why do you keep reading the articles and participate in the blogs?  Just skip it and read on to something else.

only ass_ _ _ _ would write about something like this

  • kman2000

A good guy mislead?????  The world sure would be better off with more people like him around.
A poor quarterback? Top prospect in high school, two national championships in college, fist Heisman Trophy winner by a sophomore, took Broncos to a playoff when most thought that there season was over midway through. Many more along the way but his bio reads way too long.
Not sure what your chosen profession is but can you claim as many accolades?  Let’s consider that you have at least one – did people hate on you after winning?  By the way, what makes a good quarterback in your opinion (I know I will regret that question)?  Winning games?  Somehow I envision your opinion comes from too many beers and too much NFL Sunday pregame and postgame commentary.  Mislead by zealots??

  • carolane88

you sure are judgmental for a so called hristian, what would Jaaaaasus say about your calling me and other names and lableling people, typical of a conservative right wing christian, i could care less if tebow is a good or bad ball player, it’s his cruel, ignorant social positions

  • http://www.facebook.com/parker.dressler Parker Dressler

    Carolane88 I’m behind you and your comments 110%     Jaaaaaases……haha classic !!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/parker.dressler Parker Dressler

Over all I have no problem with Tebow.  I would rather he be in the spotlight then some pant sagging gang banger.  But his views about rape victims keeping their baby is stupid.  Only the mother can make that call, no matter what your religious beliefs are.

  • Klaudia Lourde

“I’ve been blessed to have an amazing mom and two amazing sisters—so they set a very high standard,” he says. “Obviously looks play a big part. Being attracted to someone plays a big part, but there’s also so much more than that for me. It’s about finding someone sweet and kind—and that has a servant’s heart. It’s about finding a girl who likes me for me, and not because of what I do or who I am or the name.” Tebow (From Vogue interview – servant’s heart is nice, right?)

  • DanaJorge

Carolane88, Your factless critiques = internet litter.

It is a shame that because e stands up for his belief he has to be ridiculed. I pray that he never forgets who he is accountable to and it it not any human being!!

  • DanaJorge

    Exactly!

  • carolane88

amazing, you have not one good comment except cliche’s, bumper sticky comments with no content or fact, unleash yourself from being controlled by religion, the invisible man, and zealots in the pulpit and you will gain self confidence, gain a soul, and be independent to be creative

  • carolane88

isn’t it easy to be accountable to an invisible man or a fantasy called god, he is ridiculed because he is a pushy, on display, exhibitionist conservative christian, the worse kind, he simply hates to be accountable to humans for his right wing thoughts about woman’s rights

  • JeremyWolfson

Carolane88, you seem to be a very bitter unforgiving person.. Has someone in a church somewhere hurt you? Or are you just an angry educated crusader against Tim Tebow? Last I checked 99% of America would love to have a kid like Tebow, respectful, kind, thoughtful, stands up for his own beliefs, raises the standards of others around him by leading with his own example… (Not to say he can resist the temptations forever, I am sure that he could stumble into bad choices if not careful) Point being, I don’t think very many people would despise Tebow dating their daughter. Even if you don’t like the guy you have to admit the world would be a better place if more Tebows were running around….. In fact less abortions would probably have to happen the more people acted with the kind of respect that Tebow has()Not to say that Tebow is perfect, I have no clue what his personal Life actually Entails…..But from what we can see and experience we see a person that values other people and challenges others viewpoints it not politically correct. And last I checked the views of the museum of Sex are not the most politically correct views….. Anything wrong with actually respecting a person for acting upon their beliefs? Isn’t that what we love about Gandhi, Jesus, and Mother Teresa? If that is not respected then what is? Look at Iran! There is a country with real women hate! Why don’t you focus on them?

  • http://www.facebook.com/daniel.stillmunks Daniel Stillmunks

How would YOU know what Tim’s views on women? Have you interviewed him / read any of his ‘articles’ ? NO, because the articles written by Tim DO NOT EXIST. You make an assumption a priori (ahead of the facts) that everyone who believes in Jesus Christ, and the Bible are “weird holy rollers’ ? Would you like Tim better if he changed his name to Mohammed Ali Tebow??   That’s right, anyone who professes strong belief   is _______ = fill in the pejorative.
I was once where YOU are; I was once a doubter. Now, I’m a ‘saved’ believer in the deity of Jesus Christ, the truth of the Bible,  a 62 y/o 300 pound sinner saved by grace thru faith.  Being a Christian doesn’t mean being a divisive character; God Bless You, sir.
    Go Jets, Go Tebow.

Tebow should join. Besides, virginity is overrated anyway.

Sure it is (unless it is a non-traditional family).

  • carolane88

Jaaaaasu wouldn’t like your slur of Muslims in your email to me, not very christian, and you were saved, from what, now you need to be saved again from the toxicity of believing in make believe and the invisible man,, and Tebow has been interviewed with his mom when they got their ugly noses into politics and woman;s rights, they are both drugged up on Jaaaaaasus

  • JeremyWolfson

So you think that Iran treats women wonderfully?  Wow you are delusional..! If I told any feminist in America that we needed to become more like Iran (In the way women are treated) and they agreed, I would be talking to a liar, lunatic, or idiot.   So which one are you? At this point I am betting on liar….

  • Stinky_Pete4

Yes Christianity is dangerous, but so wonderful… it has caused more people to risk more things for good than anything else. missionaries traveling to foreign lands risking their lives to bring medicine. Christians hiding black slaves, ending segregation (Rev Martin Luther King Jr.) Risking their lives to hide Jews from the Nazi’s in WWII. Sacrificing everything to start hospitals and schools all this because they know deep in their hearts that mankind is sinful. So sinful that humans were sold into slavery and 6 million Jews were put in ovens, if we as a people don’t need a savior  I don’t know who does… you may believe that everything is OK, and that the whole world is the result of  random and chaotic forces banging into each other causing the earth to exist. But  if that is the case explain one thing to me how can there be so many laws ( Law of gravity, law of thermodynamics, law of relativity, laws of electromagnetism. etc)I could go on and on how can something that randomly happened through a BIG Bang produce all those laws. I think Laws require a law giver or at least a plan and a plan requires intelligence don’t you think? I laugh when  you say that Christianity is just faerie tales as if I we don’t read everything we can and constantly challenge our own faith it would be easy to be like other people and have no consequences , but as for me and my house…

  • carolane88

no, christians go around the world to push Jaaaasus in the face of others, are responsible for more deaths that any other reason to date, did you ever hear of the crusages or read your bible about Noah’s Ark, Jerico, all hate and killing, want, disgusting, controlling, violent, and hateful, try reading about religion and death and violence, you may wake the heck up, you are doped up on religion and a sad, hateful, angry person, get lost, go pus ush this crap on someone who doesn’t think and you will have a degree of success and act more like Jaaaaasu and not a modern day religious nut

People, it is time to stop responding to carol. I suspect he/she is just trying to “pull our strings”, or is a “little off”, or is in dire need for attention. Just let him/her ramble on to herself/himself . It’s like talking to a rock. He/she could even be pretending to be “up in arms” , as some do in order to fullfill some kind of fantasy . Just ignore her …. She’s just a waste of time, since she/he keeps spouting off the same things like a broken record.

    GO, TEBOW!

  • tebowhaulic

As a born-again Christian i cant help but defend my belief in an Almighty God. You say he is invisible and there is no proof of Him but just look outside and there is all the proof you need. Take the earth for example, it is 93 million miles away from the sun. If you were to move it 30 million mile closer we would all evaporate in less then 10 minutes. If we moved it 30 million miles away, we would all freeze to death. That is no accident. It is the intricate design of a loving and caring God. And I can honestly say that as a Christian we are mainly non-aggressive people. Now every now and then some fanatics will go and do something crazy like killing someone but I personally don’t support that. Also, at the time of Noah’s Ark, humans were sinning left and right and our righteous God cant look upon sin so he had to destroy it. But God also saved the righteous which happened to be Noah and his family. Noah also kept telling the people for over 40 years that a flood was coming and to get right. See our God doesnt destroy things for the fun of it. We as humans sin against Him and cause him to bring punishment upon us. And also He gives second chances and gives forgiveness to anyone that asks for it. He doesnt demand our worship or praise, nor does he demand our forgiveness and our submission to Him. Its all voluntary. We WANT to give it to Him for all that He has done for us. He died on a cross for our sins so that we could live with Him in heaven when we die. But we must ask Him to save us from our sin and to live within us and to save us. We as Christians dont try to force our religion on anybody. Its simply voluntary. Take it or leave it. But I will say this, if you die without Him as your Saviour, you will go to a place called Hell to dwell there eternally in a burning fire forever and ever. But if you do accept Him, you get to live in Heaven for all eternity and not experience the pain and sorrow of Hell. I am just laying out the basis of Christianity and not trying to force anything on you Carol

  • carolane88

you state the existence of something, are too lazy to study it or accept sceince so you take the fools way out and intellectually lazy way out and say it must be god, what an ignorant, sad, make believe world you have been conned and played into, sceince and facts are your enemy, just defaulted to “da lord” in your mind makes it fact, your are reckless, dangerous, and anti-science, hate to scare you with a thought, but there were dinoaurs on this earth long before you believe the earth even existed, pooof, and the earth was put here by “da lord”, how foolish, please, be nice and stop writing me as each succesive email shows just how darn ignorant and anti-science and anti-questioning anything you are, please, write to your preacher as you both most likely think alike and don’t enjoy hearing about facts, please

  • tebowhaulic

May the Lord bless you! Science is actually the best way to prove that God exists. You are right though dinosaurs did exist just not before our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ did. See he created the dinosaurs and everything else. And I am not taking the easy way out by just belief. I have done my research and let me ask you something? Do you believe in evolution or the big bang or what? Also how long do you think the earth has been in existence? I am not trying to argue or be pushy. Just trying to have a conversation with you Carol.

  • chris senzamici

Stop arguing with her.  There’s no point.  She has the right to not believe.  That’s her choice.  I personally don’t feel that ripping another person apart for their beliefs is a healthy way to live.  I am a Christian and that’s my choice.  Carolane can make any choice she wants as well.  Why anyone bashes another person for what they do or do not believe just baffles me.  I mean, who doesn’t talk to another person about what they strongly support or have faith in. My belief is there is a God.  If I believe that something is that important in someones life I would feel horrible if I didn’t share it.  However, it’s not my responsibility to make someone believe.

  • tebowhaulic

I agree 100% but i cant make her believe anything. Only God can convict her soul and im just trying to find out where she or he is coming from and just show them the facts thats all. But i do believe everyone is entitled to an opinion just like  you said. She has a choice and so does everybody for that matter. And Im also not trying to rip or bash her or him I dont believe that works on anyone. Like I said just trying to show them the facts and use science as a basis.

  • tebowhaulic

Also I completely support your decision to be a Christian!!! Stay strong in the Lord!!

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/CRMFSKIGO3FRUY4M76WA26SJAY megaJ

One thing that people fail to realize is that there is nothing wrong with a christian going to an adult bookstore or a museum of sex.  Sex is encouraged to be enjoyed in the bible and going out to buy a dildo or two is not really discouraged in any way.

  • chris senzamici

Jets are going to have a tough season.  They really didn’t do much to improve, so regardless of adding Tebow they will be the same old Jets.  Actually, since the Offensive coordinator came from the low to no scoring Dolphins, they may actually be worse off

  • tebowhaulic

Yea I’m sure ol’ Rex Ryan will give us some predictions to laugh about all year again though

  • chris senzamici

Not a big fan of his coaching style.  I think he is too much of a distraction.  New York itself can be a distraction.  Having him just makes it worse

  • oldsportsfan1

And just who is full of hate.  I shall pray along with every other Christian on this blog for the lost and fooled.

Thanks for showing just why we love God, and through Jesus how we will be able to live with Him in Heaven forever.

Tebow is very strong, and all of us should pray the God blesses him with all that is good.  What a terrific person he is, and I thank God I have lived long enough to have been blessed to watch him.  He is already sucessful, as he has brought the Word of God to so many people.  Thank you Tim Tebow.  We all love and respect you so much.

I feel sorry for folks like carolane that speak like they are stating facts, yet have no real basis for their words.  It is apparently a strong opinion of many people that Tim Tebow is a decent man, a great athelete, and a Christ believing Believer.  Human Science can prove that a fertilized egg and a fetus are one in the same.  If you were to take an anatomy class you would learn that when a egg is fertilized it is in the beginning stage of life.

When you plant a seed in the ground and you see that seed first burst through the ground in the form of a tiny piece of vegetation you have the beginning of a plant.  Over time with nurturing there will eventually be a plant and that plant may produce a flower, fruit, or vegetable, etc.; the same is true for a fertilized egg.  Life of any kind begins when the seed is planted.  Are you going to continue to dig up the seed to see if it is growing, if it is living…I don’t think you would, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t alive just because you can’t see it.  Have faith Carolane….

  • carolane88

who taught you this garbabe, dinosaurs a million plus years ago, you think the earth is only 4-6,000 years old, and don’t god bless me, it is patronizing and degrading and of no value to me when you say that, we are still studying the origins of the earth but only a simpleton would think “da lord” created it, evolution or the myth/fairy tale of the deseert, please, you Focus people never stop amazing me with your anti-science and anti-thinking outside the bible (a book written over and over, modified, and too full of violence, sex, and death for me to be interested with contentions based on superstition and ignorance of the time.  Ok, I will be putting your email on auto-return, i hope you open your mind to knowledge and science and love to all peoples and stop excluding and hating those targeted by Focus

My mind is as open as can be right now. So far you keep calling me anti-science and anti-thinking outside the Bible but you havent given any science to prove anything. Yes it is true that scientist are still trying to figure our the origin of the earth but honestly the more they research the more they are going to realize that there is a God and he created the entire universe. And yes the Bible has been written over and over but a book written over 2,000 years ago would be in really bad shape if it wasnt rewritten. And have you ever tried to read the Bible? It is more full of love than the violence. The Bible just tells it how it is. Also there are many reasons why the earth couldnt be more then 4-6,000 years old and I will be glad to share them with you if you like.

  • tebowhaulic

Yea I think the Jets could do much better with another coach. Just one who didnt want to be in the spotlight all the time
