You don’t see the replays of Santonio Holmes’s “catch?” from the backside because his left foot is resting on his right foot and not the ground.
No catch, no touchdown!

Official explanation of Kurt Warner fumble in final secsJust heard back from NFL vice president Greg Aiello, who explains the Kurt Warner fumble in the final seconds this way:

“The play was reviewed and confirmed by the replay assistant in the booth (former on-field official Bob McGrath). That is standard procedure. If it is clear, there is no reason to send it to the referee. Mike Pereira said it was properly handled. It was a fumble.”

There was absolutely no excuse for not reviewing the final play by Warner. They should have had one last shot at the end zone.

Amazing? No it’s just the same old story. The NFL’s ‘company men’ did what they were supposed to.
I caught all kinda of hell today about ‘conspiracy theories’ and ‘you’re crazy’ and such. I reminded
people that’s what they said about my longtime beliefs about the NBA and mentioned the name
Tim Donaghy. :^))

Yeah, a baby powder celebration which should have received a 15 yard penalty. It’s amazing how the entire game the yellow flags are flying, and then a big call is missed with that celebration, AND they refuse to review the “fumble” at the end of the game.
